COACHING EDUCATION 2010
Nevada Coaches,
I would like to take this
opportunity to introduce myself, John Millen, and Rob Moreland
as your new
Directors of Coaching
Education for Nevada. I will be running Southern Nevadas
Coaching
Education program, and
Rob will be running the Coaching Education for Northern Nevada.
At this time, we would
like to tell you about our upcoming coaching courses. Licensing
and Module
schedules for 2010 are
available on the Nevada Youth Soccer Website at
www.usysnv.net
under
coaching
education. You are now able to fill out your application and pay
online. To guarantee your
spot,
please apply as soon as you find the Course and date that works
best for you. Although specific
courses
are already scheduled, based on demand and minimum requirements,
more course dates
may
be offered.
As a reminder, Nevada
Youth Soccer requires all coaches to be licensed prior to
participating in State
Cup or traveling to any
Out-of-State Tournaments. For coaches with age groups U/12 and
below,
participation in Youth
Module I or II is required, depending on the age group. All
coaches are given a
one year grace period to
accomplish these requirements. More detailed information on the
coaching
courses, including
specifications and guidelines, can be found on the Nevada Youth
Soccer Website
also under Coaching
Education.
We are very excited to
begin working on this program and look forward to meeting you at
one of our
upcoming courses. Please
contact us if you need more information on courses in your area.
Sincerely,
John Millen
